Saramma A. Kunjummen, 89, of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away on October 19th.
She was born in Kerala as the daughter of the late evangelist Mr. C. M. Abraham and Mrs. Mariamma Abraham of Cheruvallethu, Kallisseri, and was the wife of the late Mr. Daniel A. Kunjummen of Arayil, Pathanapuram (and later Bloomington, Minnesota, USA).
She is survived by her brothers, evangelist Philip Abraham and Dr. Benjamin Abraham, children Lucy (and Joseph) Paulose, Lizy (and Tom) Johns, Babu (and Lizy) Kunjummen, Raju (and S. Susan) Kunjummen, Jessy (and Rajan) Thomas and Biju (and Jean) Kunjummen, 15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Before coming to the US, she taught for many years as a teacher in N.M.U.P. School, Kalanjoor, lovingly addressed as ‘Saramma saar’, and the family was part of the Kalanjoor Brethren Assembly. In the US she had fellowship with the Brethren Assemblies in the Minneapolis area, and for the last several years at Lakeside Bible Chapel in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Visitation will be held at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431 (Tel # 952-884-8145) 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a brief time of prayer and sharing, on Friday, October 27, 2017.
Funeral Services will be held at South Suburban Evangelical Church, 12600 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, MN 55124 at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
