Dear community members,
The spread of COVID-19 has resulted in drastic changes to our lifestyles and activities. We sincerely hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy during this difficult time.
As we try and cope with this new lifestyle, many of families are experiencing severe mental stress. There are lots of information (valid and fake) that are being passed around in the social media which is adding to confusion. Many of us are also hesitant to visit hospitals/doctors due to the concerns of getting COVID infection.
To address this situation, we have decided to host a webinar “Chat with our community doctors” on May 2nd from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Dr. Pradeep Joseph and Dr. Rakesh John from our community has volunteered to support this webinar. The format for this webinar will be as following:
15 mins – Dr. Pradeep will talk on COVID related Dos and Don’ts, health and hygiene
15 mins – Dr. Rakesh will talk on Stress Management and Mental Health.
30 mins – Open forum for Question and Answers. (Please send your questions to email@example.com )
Dr. Pradeep Joseph MD, is a board certified Internal Medicine physician currently working with Allina Health, MN as a Hospital based Internal Medicine physician. He finished medical education in India and completed Internal Medicine residency in US and has been practicing since 2004.
Dr. Rakesh John, MBBS, MRCPsych (UK), FRCPC (Canada) is a board certified Psychiatrist and Sleep Specialist at Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis. He finished his medical education in India and completed specialist residency training in Psychiatry at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in England and at the University of Chicago. He also completed subspecialty fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. John has a wealth of expertise in mental and psychological well- being, stress management and sleep optimization.
