Dear Community Members,
I am humbled and honored to have an opportunity to serve the Minnesota Malayalee Association (MMA) with a committed and dedicated team of Board of Directors. First of all, I would like to thank our outgoing Board of Directors who has demonstrated a fabulous commitment to the community given the challenges and difficulties of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to have those days behind us and look forward to a new beginning for the Malayalee community and Minnesota community-at-large, to make an impactful difference. We need creative and collaborative thinking, diversified perspectives, and inclusivity to keep our community connections and maintain the health, well-being, and wellness of the members.
Our goals are to improve the MMA community experience, build and expand MMA connections, and sustain changes. These goals align to meet community needs and aspirations, increase MMA brand equity and value, and achieve long-term sustenance, respectively. Along with our signature events of Varnolsavam, Eid, Onam, and Christmas programs, we are passionate to bring creative and innovative entertainment, valuable programs, and events to our community. We have a vision of community alignment with the commitment to open and honest communication and transparency. We request your support to serve our community better to create a fun environment with a sense of belonging and togetherness.
Please feel free to reach out to me or the team if you have questions, feedback, suggestions. We will also conduct a survey to learn your preferences for MMA’s growth and excellence, and I request you all to participate in the survey.
Looking forward to working together!
Manoj Prabhu
